New, unopened merchandise sold by Big Red Appliances and Mattresses in factory-sealed original manufacturer packaging can be returned within thirty (30) days of purchase, unless noted in our Return Policy Exceptions listed below. All merchandise must be returned in the same condition it was sold, by the original purchaser, and to the store it was picked up or ordered from. Returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. If an item exchange/upgrade is needed (usually when an item doesn’t fit) only one exchange can be made.

Before accepting the delivery, the customer must inspect the item for damage or manufacturer defects, and if any exist, customers should refuse delivery. If delivery is refused for these reasons, the authorized delivery team will return the unit to our warehouse, and we will contact you within 24 hours to arrange delivery of a new unit.

Return Policy Exceptions

48-Hour Return Policy: For opened products, returns must be initiated with Big Red Appliances and Mattresses within 48 hours of delivery or the time of pickup from a Big Red Appliances and Mattresses location.

Defective or Damaged Products: Before a customer accepts delivery or picks up an order, all products should be inspected for defects or damage. If any exists, the customer should notify the driver/employee about damages for options and refuse delivery if you do not want the damaged product. All defects or damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or pick up. Contact the manufacturer directly for any defects noted more than 48 hours after delivery. Note- most manufacturers require at least one service call to diagnose a problem. Any products outside of 30 days that are deemed unrepairable by an authorized service provider will be a store credit issued by the manufacturer towards a replacement product.

Open Box/Clearance: All “Open Box” and “Clearance” products are sold as is, and are considered Final Sale. The product’s full manufacturer's warranty is still guaranteed to operate. Open Box/Clearance products may have cosmetic wear: no refunds or exchanges.

Drop-Off Deliveries: If your purchase was dropped off and the unit was not opened or inspected, you assume all liability for any damage.

Special Order Items: Big Red Appliances and Mattresses does not stock special order items; they are ordered exclusively for you and are not eligible for refund or cancellation. We will provide all specifications for your appliances. All Special Orders/Final Sale items must be paid for in full and may not be changed after 48 hours from the invoice date. Please check the specifications carefully and consult all parties (designer, contractor, etc.) before making the purchase. ETAs are based on current ordering processes and may change depending on the manufacturer's availability and unforeseen circumstances. All Home Delivery and warehouse pickup items must be inspected at the time of customer receipt.

Final Sale Items: Ventilation over $750, Ventilation Accessories, Trim Kits, Built-in Appliances, Undercounter Refrigeration/Wine/Beverage, Plumbing, BBQ, PRO Ranges, Panel Ready Appliances, Cooktops over $750, Built-in Ovens over $750, Coffee Makers, Side Vented Dryers OTR’s over $499. By completing the purchase, you agree to these terms. All orders are subject to these Terms & Conditions and the “Return Policy” listed at NOTE: Customer must pick up or take delivery of all items within 30 days of arrival or “in stock” date. In-stock and special-order items not picked up or delivered within 30 days may be subject to product release or cancellation with a refund.

Non-Returnable Items:strong> Delivery & installation accessories (e.g., gas flex lines, electric cords, water lines, etc.), used items, items damaged after delivery or installation, labor charges for work already rendered, delivery fees, installation charges, out-of-box items after the 7-day return window.

Storing Product: For special order items not delivered within 21 days of arrival, your item may be reallocated to another order or returned to the manufacturer.

Refund Policy

Refunds are issued in the same form as the original purchase. If the item was paid for by credit or debit card a refund will be made to the same card. If the item was paid for with a check or cash, the amount will be refunded by check within 10 calendar days from the return date.
